About the Summer School
The Summer School intends to bring together doctoral students in various fields of the humanities and social sciences to explore the theme Recording & Transformation. In our disciplines, processes of recording – through archives, oral histories, digital repositories, or ethnographic notes – are deeply intertwined with transformations that are technological, methodological, epistemological, and cultural. These changes challenge traditional notions of evidence, authenticity, and interpretation.
This intensive program combines doctoral seminars, expert sessions, and soft skills workshops in a collaborative setting designed to foster cross-disciplinary dialogue and professional development.
Who Can Apply?
- Doctoral students from the organizing institutions.
- Maximum 10 participants will be selected.
Program Highlights
- Doctoral Seminars: Engage with the theme Recording & Transformation through discussion and peer feedback.
- Expert Sessions: Topics include AI tools for research and interdisciplinary practices.
- Soft Skills Workshops: Public speaking, grant proposal design, lesson planning, and pedagogy.
- Networking & Collaboration: Build connections with peers and faculty from leading institutions.
